SWAN 47 FT | SKILLS: woodworking, engineering, plumbing | PROJECT DURATION: 4 weeks
The teak planking of this Swan 47 was worn and in need of replacement. Extensive patterns were made of the the deck areas, coachroof and cockpit, before new 12mm teak planks were installed. Additionally, a new holding tank was installed along with new electronics. The forward sliding hatch was also replaced by Brin Wilson to a standard opening hatch. The hull was then prepared and its freeboard repainted.
