As this edge-glued, kauri planked yacht had never been fiberglassed, small leaks had developed in the hull under the waterline. To resolve the issue, Brin Wilson planned back and sanded the hull before double bias glass and epoxy resin were applied up to the waterline. The hull was then filled and faired before the application of epoxy undercoat and antifouling paint.
