SKILLS: hull planking (Kauri and Kahikatea), painting (interior), engineering
PROJECT DURATION: 4 months

With the help of a salvage team, Brin Wilson salvaged this yachts after it went on the rocks in the Barrier. We towed La Di Da back to Gulf Harbour Marina where she was hauled for repairs.

The repairs consisted of a rather large hole in the bow and a smaller hole in the stern. The vessel took on enough water to almost entirely submerge the engine. The construction of this boat was four skins making it a challenge to repair back to her former immaculate state. The yacht was in for repairs for four months and the hull was entirely repainted.
