ARNEMENTIA: a beautiful deck refit

As Brin Wilson is a Swan Agent for New Zealand, this overseas vessel was delivered for an extensive deck restoration refit. The rig was unstepped and the vessel stored inside Brin Wilson’s main work shed for the duration of the project. All deck hardware, fittings and the worn teak planking were carefully removed. The cabinroof was prepared and new 12 mm teak planking (the original teak was 10 mm) was installed, caulked and sanded with all deck hardware cleaned, polished and rebedded. Additionally, a new traditional-style forward sliding hatch was rebuilt by Brin Wilson, a section of damaged toe rail was replaced from Nautor Swan, and areas of the hull received fiberglass and gelcoat repairs to restore the vessel to new condition.
